Startup Weekend in Annecy
Take part in the first Startup Weekend in Annecy, from 25th to 27th November 2016 at the Papeteries.
As part of its economic mission, CITIA is associating with the launch of the first Startup Weekend in Annecy, from 25th to 27th November at the Papeteries – Image Factory.
This event, taking place in over 130 towns around the world, aims to support and encourage company creation by taking 54 hours to bring together would-be entrepreneurs from different horizons: developers, trade experts, designers, marketers, engineers, students, project leaders, visionaries... anyone interested in entrepreneurship is invited to take part!
The weekend starts the Friday evening with a pitch session, where participants have 60 seconds to present their ideas. 15 projects will then be chosen from an open vote, followed by teamwork over the weekend to think about a business model, coding, concepts and market validations.
At the end of the 3 days, each team will give a 5-minute presentation of the final project to a jury of entrepreneurial and innovation professionals and investors. The event is certainly a great opportunity of becoming the startup of tomorrow!
