Official Selection Online
Check out the official selection (except feature films) for the upcoming Annecy Festival, taking place from 15th to 20th June 2015.
The number of films sent into the Annecy Festival this year broke previous records, with 2,606 films, 73 of which were features, coming from 95 different countries. This required over 390 hours of screening for the Festival's Artistic Director Marcel Jean and the Films & Programme Planning department to decide on which films would be presented in and out of competition.
In the end, 184 films from 40 countries were chosen for the 2015 Official Selection, divvied up as follows:
In competition
- 43 short films
- 25 TV films
- 35 commissioned films
- 49 graduation films
Out of competition
- 32 short films
Compared with 2014's Festival where Canada had a strong presence in the selection, this year, it's France, the USA and the United Kingdom in the lead with Germany and Belgium not far behind.
