The Festival Unveils its 2023 Poster!
In 2023, Mexican animation will be in the spotlight, and we entrusted the Annecy Festival’s official poster design to Animator and Director Jorge R. Gutierrez, who will also be one of our jury members. An aficionado of Mexican culture and folklore, he has created a genuine joyous and heart-warming firework display of references announcing a very colourful edition!

CITIA, organiser of the International Animation Film Festival and its Market, the Mifa, this morning revealed the Annecy Festival 2022 edition’s economic impact.

Hélène Tanguay has Died
It is with deep sadness that the Annecy Festival team has learned of the death of Hélène Tanguay, who was involved in the animation industry for over 37 years.
Opening Sunday 11th June: One Day more for more Animation Film!
In 2023, the Festival will start on Sunday 11th June to host 7 days dedicated to animation film!
Following an exceptional 2022 edition, and in view of how dense this year’s offer is becoming, CITIA’s management decided to open the Festival as early as Sunday.
Residency: The Winning Projects
From 3rd April to 30th June 2023, the Annecy Festival Residency will host new artists who will work on the graphic development of their animation feature films.

Authors, with or without producers, prepare your application and submit it as soon as possible to the 2023 Mifa Pitches, which will enable you to present your projects to an audience of animation professionals at the next Mifa.
