  The Lagardère Foundation Grant

The Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation has just launched its call for applications for the grant for young animation film creators and writers!

The Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation is offering a unique opportunity to young French-speaking directors who are under 30 years old, have already created an animation film and are working on a new project. The Bourse Auteur de film d'animation (animation filmmaker’s grant) provides 20,000 EUR financial backing towards producing their film in France or abroad. Interested, young filmmakers are invited to apply now to have a shot at clinching this valuable support!

This promising grant for young film and television talents awards original and innovative projects, such as short films, series, feature films or feature-film pilots, adapted to broadcasting in 2D, 3D, CGI or with puppets. It provides a unique opportunity to future directors and producers to enter the film and television industry.

Apply for the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation’s Bourse Auteur de film d'animation (animation filmmaker’s grant) before Wednesday 7th June 2023 on their official website.
