CITIA is an ambassador for Annecy Mountains

The new territory brand, Annecy Mountains, has officially been launched and Patrick Eveno, the director of CITIA, is an ambassador.

After several years in the making, Annecy Mountains, the new territory brand has been launched. It has shown a united willingness from its collaborators to shine on an international level. The local driving forces around this unique destination have the ambition to attract, maintain loyalty and break new ground.

The partners that make up this group are:

  • communities: Grand Annecy, Communauté de Communes des Vallées de Thônes, Syndicat intercommunal du Massif des Aravis, Communauté de Communes des Sources du Lac d’Annecy
  • tourist offices: Annecy Lake, La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, les Sources du Lac d’Annecy and Thônes Cœur des Vallées.

As the ambassadors believe that the region’s image contributes positively towards businesses they wanted to support this new territory brand. This is certainly the case for Patrick Eveno, the director of CITIA.

As part of his mission to develop an economic hub of creative industries, it seemed natural that CITIA should work hand-in-hand and support Annecy Mountains. Patrick Eveno believes that by supporting the region "we can bring a favorable and creative ecosystem to business development".
