A Sector Wavering Between Satisfaction and Concern
The moving images and creative industries sector started its new season in October, presenting the opportunity to review its developments and future.
Industry professionals from the moving images and creative industries sector turned out on 13th October to give a positive account of the year’s developments. Indeed, the animation and outdoor sectors in Haute-Savoie alone bring together some 5,000 jobs.
The meeting was also the opportunity to talk about the future of this sector that is heavily dependent on the transfer of economic jurisdiction from the Départemental Council to the Regional Council, which will take effect from 1st January 2017, although the funding is not sure to follow.
