Report on the Sector’s New Season Meeting

Members of the images and creative industries met up for the annual meeting of the Sector’s New Season.

This year, over 80 members of the images and creative industries turned out for the Sector’s New Season meeting at La Turbine. This important appointment for those working in the sector presents the opportunity to go over the past year’s activities, measures set up and the projects and ambitions for the future.

During the presentation, CITIA:

Reviewed the evolution of Les Papeteries – Image Factory. A positive overview after just one year, as 35 companies and over 150 people are now already working from this unifying space, the Piixels residence is full, the meeting rooms have over 85 reservations for the year, the economic events are becoming more and more popular, and the residents are slowly taking the initiative and organizing their own events.
Mentioned the collaborations between the sectors and local organisations, such as: tourism with Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme, outdoor sport with Outdoor Sports Valley, digital content with Imaginove, education with the CCI Formation and Canopé… Connections and synergies, also supported by French Tech in the Alps.
Announced the winners for the 2016 support platform for innovative projects and those for funding assistance for the production of audiovisual digital animation.
Presented the calendar of future sector not-to-be-missed appointments, and other big events like the Forum Blanc and the Annecy Festival and Market
