Visit les Papeteries
Les Papeteries – Image Factory is opening its doors for you to visit on Saturday September 17th as part of the European Heritage Days.
Each year, the European Heritage Days give people the chance to discover the wealth of artistic, cultural and architectural heritage to be found locally. This year the theme for the Days will be "Heritage and Citizenship".
This celebration offers the perfect opportunity to discover the history of the old paper mills (Papeteries), the recently renovated iconic location in Cran-Gevrier.
On the programme: visit to the new Passerelles area, then along to the Papeteries – Image Factory which hosts companies working in moving images and is managed by CITIA. In the building’s screening room, you’ll be able to see a newsreel about the history of the location, created by Service Compris.
Two dates have been set aside for the general public on Saturday 17th September at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The tour is free, sign up required.
