Anima-J Annecy 2015

1st Jun 2016

  Anima-J: Young Students Discovering Animation

Local children will be able to enjoy their own Festival! Anima-J will be screening some award-winning shorts, exclusively for their viewing pleasure.

From 15th June to 1st July, a series of screenings have been set up for young elementary and middle-school students from the Haute-Savoie department. Over 10,000 students will be able to watch award-winning shorts from last year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival that were selected by a panel of teachers.

These screenings will be shown in independent theatres all across the Haute-Savoie department. After the screenings, the students will vote to select the short for the Pupils’ Prizes and the Middle School Students’ Prize.

Anima-J participates in the educational initiatives put forth by CITIA, the city of moving images.
