These classes were started in 2002 from a cultural initiative by the city council focused on primary schools in the area.

Volunteer teachers can sign up for the classes at the beginning of each school year.
The course is based on the production of a digital animation film on a subject of choice.

Diverse resources are made available to help with the writing of the scenario and content of the film: AnimAnum Cd-Rom and website, visit to CITIA Exposition etc..

An industry professional then takes the classes in specially equipped multimedia rooms at the CITIA premises for a week-long workshop focusing on the different phases of production (animation, digitisation, sound, editing).

Finally, all the films are screened in the Grande Salle theatre at the end of the school year.
