Animage

 

These classes are targeted to kindergartens and primary schools outside Annecy.

Based on an initiative started by CITIA, "Animage" gives kindergarten and primary school classes the opportunity to create short animated sequences in classes presented by students from the Information-Communication degree course at the IAE Savoie Mont-Blanc.

Content:

  • Understanding what a moving image is and how it is created.
  • Using an animated sequence as a basis to study other subjects: history, geography, French, drawing, music, team working etc.
  • Establishing links between school and civil activities (cultural events, existing institutions and structures, universities etc.).
  • Learning about/how to use modern communication tools: motion capture, distance communication via email, forums, data exchange, webcam etc.
