Since 2007, CITIA (with the support of the Rhône-Alpes region) and SwissFilms (in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office for Culture) has been organising a series of day-meetings to develop collaboration and synergies between Switzerland and the Rhône-Alpes region.

These meetings have provided the opportunity to find out more about the different funding schemes available in each territory and also create a network of professionals.

From 2008, the meetings ("coopération des professionnels suisses et rhônalpins de l'audiovisuel et du cinéma") have been alternating between Annecy and Geneva and are focused on collaboration and co-production between the two countries

A Call for Projects for fiction, documentaries and animation films is launched each year in both France and Switzerland and the selected projects are then presented to attending financial backers, producers or institutions. The meetings also give attendees the chance to meet up and talk over future plans.

The Production and co-production between the two territories meeting, took place Tuesday 29^th November at Veyrier du Lac (near Annecy).
